About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator I, you will play a vital role in our operations at a recycling facility servicing over 20 million customers across the USA. This position is designed for those aspiring to advance their careers in a stable environment that prioritizes safety and offers training based on unique career goals. You will operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders, performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth flow of our waste disposal sites.

Work Environment and Schedule

The normal setting for this job is our waste disposal site in Phoenix, AZ. You will work Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. The standard schedule is 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, with Saturday hours running from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This schedule is designed to provide stable hours that support financial security and work-life balance.

The work environment involves exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes for most of the day. While the role requires physical effort and motor coordination, reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
