Since 1946, the Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) has delivered essential benefits to millions of Veterans enrolled in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare system. As a program office within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), VCS is dedicated to serving America's Veterans, their families, caregivers, and VA employees. We provide reasonably priced merchandise and services essential to comfort and well-being, operating cafés, retail stores, coffee shops, vending machines, and optical shops across the country.
The VCS is seeking experienced and motivated Health Tech (Opticians) to support operations within our Optical Shops at the Texas City, TX VA Clinic. This position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service by coordinating optical operations and serving as a key liaison between VCS, eye clinic providers, and prosthetics teams. You will join a team dedicated to enhancing the experience for our Nation's Veterans, ensuring they receive high-quality eyewear and professional care in a welcoming environment.
