The Department of Neurology at SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a Headache Neurologist to join the largest program in the area. This role offers the opportunity to step into an established and active patient base while helping to rebuild and advance the headache program. You will make a department-wide impact in headache medicine and have the option to pursue a leadership path within a department undergoing a transformative phase with an ambitious growth vision.
You will practice within comprehensive services, including a Neuro ICU and stroke center, while accessing outpatient specialty clinics for epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, MS/neuroimmunology, sleep, pediatric neurology, and Neuro-Ophthalmology. The position serves a catchment area across 20+ counties and approximately 2 million people, offering a weekday schedule that includes protected time for non-clinical work based on interest.
You will collaborate with approximately 40 neurology faculty in an academic environment. This role is designed for a physician looking to connect with a growing department and contribute to a program that is actively evolving.
