Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead media and press relations including proactive storytelling and responsive reputation management
- check_circleOwn company-wide internal and executive communications around high-stakes regulated topics and major milestones
- check_circleServe as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team shaping narratives and decision-ready options
- check_circleDirect and coordinate external agencies, advisors, and cross-functional partners to deliver on-message communications
- check_circleDefine and execute a long-term global communications strategy integrating executive, corporate, policy, internal, and product narratives
- check_circleUtilize AI tools and systems to increase leverage in content development, research, and measurement
Requirements
- verified12+ years in communications
- verifiedExperience in senior leadership roles
- verifiedExperience in tech, fintech, or financial services
- verifiedStrong relationships with finance/crypto reporters
- verifiedAbility to operate across US and international markets
Nice to Have
Direct experience in crypto-native companies (e.g., Coinbase, Circle) where you helped build a strong brand and media footprint. Prior work closely tied to regulatory or policy communications, especially in Washington DC or other major regulatory hubs. Experience building or significantly scaling a comms function, including hiring and managing internal teams and agencies. Background in payments, fintech, or TradFi with strong connectivity into finance reporters and publications that cover both finance and crypto beats.
