Graphic Artist – Virtual Contract Role
Clarity Consultants is collaborating with a prominent oil and gas enterprise to drive a significant training transformation initiative. As our learning and development team expands, we are seeking a skilled Graphic Artist to join us in creating compelling digital media assets. This role focuses on supporting training programs for field technicians who operate heavy equipment, utilizing your design expertise to simplify complex machinery and operational procedures through engaging eLearning visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements to develop design concepts that strictly adhere to established branding and style guidelines.
- Produce motion graphics and animations for various media formats, including videos, reels, and interactive content.
- Design high-quality visual assets such as equipment cut-aways, service animations, process flow diagrams, infographics, and technical illustrations.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and document management standards are followed.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, instructional designers, eLearning developers, and fellow artists.
- Incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and team members to refine and revise deliverables as necessary.
Position Details
- Location: 100% Virtual
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, with hours adjusted based on project needs.
- Duration: 6-month contract with the potential for extension.
- Start Date: Continuous recruitment; individual start dates are assigned based on specific project requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- A degree or certification in graphic design or a related discipline.
- Proven experience creating graphics, illustrations, and 2D/3D models specifically for training materials.
- Background in designing graphics for heavy industry equipment training is preferred; experience in the hydrocarbon processing industry is a plus.
- Strong conceptual abilities to translate abstract ideas into effective visual storytelling.
Technical Skills
- Required: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and XD.
- Required: Must provide your own laptop and valid software licenses.
- Required: Ability to work exclusively on a PC platform throughout the project.
- Desirable: Experience with Cinema 4D.
- Plus: Familiarity with Blender or similar 3D tools.
- Preferred: Experience with Articulate Storyline.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $55.00 to $65.00. Individual compensation is determined by various factors, including skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications, and specific work location.
