A leading non-profit health system in Oregon is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join their growing team. Supported by a robust network of hospitals and clinics serving communities across several counties, the organization is fueled by a mission of teaching, learning, and building healthier communities. Clinicians work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment designed to foster professional growth and meaningful community impact.
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a cohesive, well-established team of gastroenterologists and GI-trained advanced practitioners. As the practice expands, a fourth gastroenterologist will be joining the team in summer 2026. The role is part of an employed model through a multispecialty medical group, offering a 4-day work week with minimal clinic time (1-2 days per month).
The day-to-day involves managing a high volume of procedures (12-21 per day) within a 1:7 shared call schedule. The team utilizes the EPIC EMR and is supported by experienced staff, a strong network of primary care providers, and 24/7 adult hospitalist services. Openings are available for General GI (ERCP a plus), GI Hospitalist, and Advanced GI roles. Subspecialty interests such as IBD are welcome, and new graduates can expect mentorship opportunities.
A key highlight of this position is the opportunity for Gastroenterologists to significantly increase their income through ownership in an endoscopy center (ASC), with a reasonable buy-in available.
