Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is a leader in compassionate end-of-life veterinary services. Our mission is to provide gentle, in-home euthanasia and hospice care, ensuring a dignified farewell for pets. We focus on making the last moments of a pet's life as peaceful as possible, supporting families during their most difficult times.
As a Full Time Veterinarian, you will be the heart of our compassionate care, traveling to homes to perform in-home euthanasia and hospice care. This role exists to bridge the gap between medical necessity and emotional comfort, allowing families to say goodbye in the safety and familiarity of their own environment.
In this position, you will do more than administer care; you will communicate compassionately with pet owners, providing the emotional support and guidance they need. You will collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver seamless, high-quality care. Additionally, you will play a key educational role, helping families understand pet hospice options and the end-of-life process.
We invite you to apply if you are passionate about animal care and possess a deep empathy for both pets and their families. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to navigate emotional situations with grace, and proficiency in mobile veterinary practices. We value professionals who demonstrate strong ethical judgment and unwavering professionalism.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
