Fright Fest Entertainment Supervisor

Role Overview

Join the Fright Fest team as an Entertainment Supervisor and help create a terrifyingly successful season. We are seeking high-energy, enthusiastic leaders ready to manage Haunted Attractions and Scare Zones. In this role, you will ensure every guest experiences a fully immersive, spine-tingling adventure while maintaining show quality, safety, and high energy from opening to closing. You will lead scare actors, coordinate operations, and shape the atmosphere that defines the Fright Fest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Supervise and manage assigned Haunted Houses and/or Scare Zones.
  • Conduct pre-opening inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and show quality standards are met.
  • Monitor staffing levels and coordinate adjustments to maintain optimal coverage.
  • Manage team member breaks to ensure continuous operational support.
  • Monitor attractions for technical or operational issues and report them promptly.
  • Partner with Gate Keepers to manage queue lines and control guest flow.

Team Leadership and Communication

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of 10-15 team members, ensuring performance meets departmental and company standards.
  • Ensure all actors are in full costume and makeup, ready for operation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate updates, notes, and expectations from Fright Fest Management to actors and staff.
  • Utilize two-way radios for effective communication with team members and management.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation, including safety talks, coaching records, and disciplinary reports.

Guest Experience and Safety

  • Ensure the safety of both guests and team members at all times.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain high energy levels and guest engagement throughout the operating day.
  • Communicate operational needs, concerns, and incidents to department leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

Availability and Schedule

  • Season Duration: Must be available to work all operating days from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2026.
  • Operating Days: Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • Conflict Disclosure: Applicants must disclose any scheduling conflicts occurring between August and November during the interview process.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Physical Activity: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, traverse all park and attraction areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and at all times of day.
  • Sensory Tolerance: Ability to work around strobe lighting, fog effects, loud noises, and other theatrical elements.
  • Alertness: Must be able to react quickly to changing show conditions, guest needs, and crowd situations.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience: Previous experience in haunted attractions and/or leadership roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of storytelling, guest service, and workplace safety.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking in front of large groups.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driving: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, meeting Six Flags driving requirements.
