About the Role
This position is a vital support role within the Food Services Department, designed to ensure the seamless operation of meal programs for our service population. You will partner with the Food Services Supervisor to implement all food services without concern, stepping in to lead operations in their absence when necessary. The role requires a blend of culinary precision, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to maintain a professional, respectful environment for children, staff, and community members.
In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for preparing food using approved menus and recipes while maintaining the highest standards of personal hygiene and sanitary conditions. You will also serve as a key link in our safety network, implementing emergency protocols and ensuring the well-being of everyone in the facility. Success in this role means balancing the technical demands of food preparation with the emotional intelligence required to interact sensitively with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Hiring Process

The selection process includes a pre-employment drug screen, random drug screens throughout employment, and both pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
