Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands, representing more than just yellow trucks—we represent incredible customer service and strong relationships with our accounts.
As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. This role requires you to travel regionally, often up to 100 percent, to work at various locations as needed. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, utilizing manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages to unload trailers. Additionally, you will use scanners to track products as they are unloaded and delivered.
You will drive late-model Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The schedule is dynamic; dispatch times vary depending on the work assignment. Drivers can expect to be away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment, traveling to an assigned location to work for the duration of that assignment.
When you drive for Penske, you are representing both the company and your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. We offer a stable, nationwide career path with clear communication, great management, and a fantastic safety record. We provide tons of training opportunities, and with locations across the nation, you have the flexibility to move to a new city as your career grows.
We pay every Friday and offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement benefits, excellent health care coverage (medical, dental, and vision), and short and long-term disability insurance. Additional perks include a driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral, a safety incentive program, a Premier Driver Recognition Program, and company-provided uniforms and safety footwear.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
