Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will represent not just Penske, but also your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
In this role, you will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships regionally. Your day involves traveling to assigned locations, where you may work for the duration of an assignment. You will unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, while using scanners to track products as they are delivered.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Drivers can expect to be away from home for 1 to 3 weeks per assignment, with dispatch times varying based on work needs.
It is more than just driving yellow trucks; it is about incredible customer service and building relationships with your accounts. You will be on the move with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We pay every Friday and offer tons of training opportunities. With locations across the nation, you also have the chance to move to a new city as your career grows.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
