The Role
As a CDL-A Flatbed Driver, you will operate late-model Kenworth tractors hauling freight that keeps you earning. Unlike other flatbed roles, our freight mix is designed for efficiency: 40% drop-and-hook and 40% of loads do not require tarping. This allows you to focus on the road rather than spending excessive time on the load.
The schedule is built around rhythm and reliability. Drivers are expected to roll all week and be home every weekend. This structure supports a lifestyle where you can earn well while maintaining a consistent presence at home.
Onboarding and Support
No prior flatbed experience is required. New drivers begin with one week of paid orientation in Birmingham, followed by a second week driving with a flatbed instructor. During this two-week onboarding period, drivers earn $2,000 while building new skills.
