About the Role
Silco is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Fitter to join our team in Cincinnati. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and a desire to help protect people and property. You will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial properties, ensuring that every system functions perfectly to safeguard our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInstall, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with project specifications and NFPA standards
- check_circleInterpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine sprinkler system layout and configuration
- check_circleAssemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and other components ensuring proper alignment and connection
- check_circleTest newly installed sprinkler systems to verify functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements
- check_circleCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and inspectors to complete projects on time and within budget
- check_circleAdhere to safety protocols and procedures including wearing appropriate PPE and following OSHA guidelines
- check_circleMaintain accurate records of work performed including materials used, labor hours, and project documentation
- check_circleProvide training and guidance to other team members as needed
- check_circlePerform routine inspections and maintenance of existing fire protection systems including troubleshooting repairs
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedCompletion of formal apprenticeship program or trade school in sprinkler fitting preferred
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of experience in installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems
- verifiedOhio licenses for sprinkler systems, fire mains, and fire alarms required
