The College of Humanities at the University of Utah is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the implementation of coordinated services for finance. This position primarily serves a shared service cluster, including the Departments of English and Writing & Rhetoric Studies. The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and strategic planning of the college's academic units.
In this role, you will independently determine the type and nature of analysis required to obtain desired results, managing everything from data collection to report structure. You will navigate representative challenges such as organizing and prioritizing multiple projects, determining the best course of action, and interpreting complex regulations to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and other requirements. The position requires creating clear, understandable reports that reflect the data being sought while maintaining the financial integrity of the department.
