Finance Manager

About the Role

Maximus is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial health, manage budgets, analyze financial data, and guide strategic financial decisions. This is a remote position designed for a professional who can turn objectives into actionable results within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

In this role, you will support forecasting and budgeting processes by preparing financial models and reviewing preliminary management presentations. You will develop and analyze financial projections to ensure forecasts align with expectations while working closely with key stakeholders. The position involves providing counsel on financial results, forecasts, and risks, as well as leading financial analysis projects and assisting with special initiatives.

You will be responsible for developing and managing operational productivity analyses, tracking metrics, and handling project status reporting for assigned business areas. Additionally, you will prepare routine and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses, ensuring complex issues are communicated in a simple, logical, and succinct manner to senior management.

Compensation and Benefits

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including job location, education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel, external market value, and internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package, which may also include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
