Field Service Engineer — Jefferson City, MO at Diedre

About the Role

We are a growing distributor seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our customers in Jefferson City, MO. In this role, you will serve as the technical expert for Extrusion Blow Molding, Injection Blow Molding, and Injection Stretch Blow Molding equipment. Your primary mission is to ensure optimal machine performance by visiting customer sites to install, calibrate, diagnose, and repair complex machinery.

You will work directly with clients to understand their operational challenges, determine the appropriate corrective actions, and validate that repairs restore equipment to peak efficiency. This position offers a dynamic career path within a growing company, combining technical problem-solving with direct customer interaction.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day activities will involve traveling to customer facilities to manage the full lifecycle of equipment maintenance. You will be responsible for:

Installation & Calibration: Setting up new machinery and ensuring precise calibration for optimal operation.
Diagnostics: Identifying root causes of equipment failures across hydraulic, pneumatic, and motion control systems.
Repair & Maintenance: Executing repairs, rebuilding components, and replacing parts to minimize downtime.
Validation: Testing equipment after repairs to verify that issues are fully resolved.
Communication: Clearly documenting activities and communicating findings to both the client and internal teams.
