Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDiagnose, treat, and educate patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- check_circleProvide leadership and direction during emergencies while maintaining patient comfort
- check_circleProvide guidance to medical assistants and other staff to ensure quality professional services
- check_circleRepresent the clinic at internal and external meetings and events as required
- check_circleEnsure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting body standards
- check_circleParticipate in and present education programs for physicians, nurses, and other staff
- check_circleConduct medical procedures including laceration repairs, injections, splinting, and abscess drainage
- check_circleOversee on-site laboratory, x-rays, and specimen collections for direct access services
- check_circlePerform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for primary and urgent care patients
- check_circleCollaborate on the development and revision of medical policies and quality care protocols
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- verifiedActive state license as an APRN or PA
- verifiedCurrent Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification
- verifiedCurrent DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- verifiedCurrent DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
