About the Role
We are seeking caring and experienced Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team in Clarksville, TN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional medical care to patients of all ages, managing a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and educate patients, ensuring the highest standard of care and service.
Your day-to-day will involve providing convenient, friendly care to walk-in patients seeking health services. You will perform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups, ranging from primary care and occupational health to DOT physicals and workers' compensation. The role also includes performing various medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removal, injections, and splinting. You will serve as a leader during emergencies, maintaining a comforting presence for patients while navigating a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleRepresent the clinic at internal and external meetings and events
- check_circleProvide guidance to physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants
- check_circleEnsure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting body standards
- check_circleConduct medical procedures including laceration repairs, injections, splinting, and abscess drainage
- check_circleOversee on-site laboratory services, x-rays, and specimen collections
- check_circlePerform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for primary and urgent care patients
- check_circleCollaborate on the development and revision of medical policies and quality care protocols
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- verifiedActive state license as an APRN or PA
- verifiedCurrent Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification
- verifiedCurrent DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- verifiedCurrent DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
