Position Overview
A well-established community health facility in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine physician to join their team. This is a full-time, 100% outpatient position within a large healthcare organization. The practice serves a diverse and growing patient population, including underserved communities, with a mission focused on providing quality healthcare. The office environment is modern, warm, and welcoming, supported by a multidisciplinary team including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Behavioral Health, nursing staff, and an on-site pharmacy.
Schedule and Work-Life Balance
The role offers a flexible work schedule designed to promote work-life balance:
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, with administrative time and lunch hours included.
- Daily Structure: Candidates may choose between working five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days.
- Weekend Coverage: Only one half-day shift on Saturday per month is required. Compensatory time off is provided during the week.
- Call Schedule: Call duties are very light and handled exclusively by phone. Physicians are on call for one week every seven weeks, starting after 5:00 p.m.
- Patient Volume: The practice maintains reasonable patient volumes supported by adequate staff.
Compensation and Benefits Package

Candidate Requirements
- Credentials: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Experience: Both recent Family Practice residents completing training in June 2022 and experienced physicians currently in practice are encouraged to apply.
- Visa Status: Must be a medical doctor with or without US residency and hold a current US work visa.
