This position offers the opportunity to build a focused practice with dedicated sign-out time, academic flexibility, and strong mentorship within a collegial faculty setting. The role is designed for a true Dermatopathologist, allowing for flexible clinical responsibilities that can be customized between 50% and 100% full-time effort to balance clinical and academic commitments.
In this position, you will teach dermatology residents, pathology residents, and medical students. There is significant room to grow into resident education or other leadership opportunities over time. You will work within the University of Iowa's integrated academic medical center, collaborating closely with surgical pathology and multidisciplinary specialists. The team shares light dermatology call, with residents taking the first call, ensuring a supportive environment for professional development.
