The Facilities Technician (FTech) is an integral part of our company's success, directly supporting Restaurant Operations across our Corporate portfolio. This role goes beyond simple maintenance; it is about delivering excellent customer service while efficiently managing multiple work orders and project plans to keep our facilities running smoothly.
You will be the first point of contact for a wide variety of maintenance needs, from repairing cooking and prep equipment like ovens and fryers to handling complex interior and exterior projects including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Your day will involve troubleshooting mechanical issues, formulating action plans for repairs or replacements, and analyzing facilities data to reduce equipment downtime.
As a key member of the team, you will maintain working relationships with internal customers and external suppliers, ensuring parts are ordered and returned in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for documenting your work through comprehensive visit summaries in our business software, communicating technical details clearly to the organization, and responding to emergency situations with the appropriate level of urgency.
This role requires a hands-on approach in both indoor and external work areas. You will be expected to work 40–45 hours weekly, including on-call shifts, holidays, and weekends. The environment can be demanding, involving continuous standing, walking, climbing, and lifting materials up to 100 pounds. You may encounter varying conditions, including exposure to dust, fumes, hazardous liquids, sharp instruments, and fluctuating temperatures or humidity. Safety is paramount, and you may be required to wear protective clothing such as earplugs and work boots.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Inclusion is at the heart of our business, and we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
