As a Contract Driver, you will join a team managing a high volume of loads for major carriers like Amazon, UPS, and FedEx. This role focuses on Over-The-Road (OTR) line haul and LTL operations, primarily utilizing drop-and-hook methods. You will operate brand new 2019-2023 Volvo or Freightliner Cascadia trucks, fully equipped with refrigeration units, inverters, and GPS systems.
The position is designed for solo drivers seeking consistent mileage and reliable income. You can expect to average 3,000 to 3,500 miles per week, with a schedule that balances time on the road with regular home time. Drivers are compensated based on a percentage of the load or cents per mile, with travel and accommodation expenses fully paid by the company.
We understand the importance of being home. Our schedule is designed to provide balance, with drivers expected to be out for 21 to 99 days at a time. The structure ensures you get three days of home time for every 21 days worked, guaranteeing you are home for at least three weekends per month.
To join our team, candidates must hold a valid Class A license without specific restrictions (such as Air Brakes, Night Driving, or Intrastate Only). We require 12 years of OTR experience.
Successful candidates will proceed to an orientation phase. Please note that orientation is not paid, and while drivers are provided with their own room, meals and travel expenses to the orientation location are not covered by the company.
