New Mexico Donor Services (SDS) is a designated organ procurement organization (OPO) within the state of New Mexico and a proud member of the DCI Donor Services family. For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
We operate three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physician/Executive Liaison to join our team in Albuquerque. This role exists to cultivate hospital executive and physician relationships that increase donation rates and the number of lives saved. You will engage with hospital executives and physicians throughout the donation service area, bridging relationships to provide mentorship and assist in developing the clinical and hospital development teams.
In this position, you will serve as a vital link between our organization and key medical leaders. You will strategize with leadership on donation service area approaches, conduct global analysis of hospital systems, and develop educational plans for physicians and executives. A key part of your day will involve building and sustaining productive relationships, developing the Physician Advisory Committee, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement external-facing projects.
