About the Role
As an Event Security professional, you will ensure a safe, secure, and positive experience for guests, staff, and performers. You will provide a visible security presence at entertainment and sports venues, acting as the first line of defense while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your day will involve monitoring access points, conducting bag checks, enforcing venue policies, and responding to incidents with professionalism. Beyond security protocols, you will serve as a resource for guests, offering directions and event information while managing crowd flow and line operations to ensure orderly movement throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide a visible security presence at entertainment and sports venues to ensure safety
- check_circleConduct access control including ticket verification, bag checks, and credential screening
- check_circleMonitor crowds for safety issues, disturbances, or policy violations and take appropriate action
- check_circleAssist with crowd flow, line management, and seat verification to maintain orderly movement
- check_circleRespond calmly to incidents, emergencies, or medical situations following established procedures
- check_circleDocument and report security-related incidents, safety hazards, and unusual activities
- check_circleProvide customer service by offering directions and assistance while maintaining security protocols
- check_circleCoordinate with supervisors, venue management, and law enforcement to support event operations
- check_circleSupport pre- and post-event security tasks such as perimeter checks and securing restricted areas
Requirements
- verifiedState or local security guard license or registration (as required by jurisdiction)
- verifiedBasic first aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
