ESL Teacher (Grades: K-4)

About the Role

This position serves as a vital link in the Dallas Independent School District's mission to provide equitable and high-quality education for all students. The role is designed to foster a dynamic learning environment where diverse student needs are met through differentiated instruction and rigorous adherence to state and district standards. As a campus-based educator, you will be the primary architect of the classroom experience, responsible for translating the district's curriculum into engaging, accessible lessons that motivate students and drive academic growth.

The day-to-day reality of this role extends beyond the classroom walls. You will collaborate closely with the principal, fellow staff members, and the community to support the holistic development of each student. This includes coordinating with aides and paraprofessionals, counseling students and parents, and actively participating in community outreach events like open houses and PTA meetings. Work Environment

This is a campus-based position requiring regular and punctual attendance at the worksite; remote work or alternate arrangements are not available. The work environment typically features a moderate noise level characteristic of an active school setting.
