About the Role

This position is a campus-based teaching role within Dallas ISD, designed to foster student growth through structured, standards-aligned instruction. The role serves as a cornerstone of the district's educational mission, requiring a dedicated educator to deliver curriculum that meets the rigorous guidelines of the Texas Education Agency and local Board of Trustee policies.

As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic learning environment that accommodates diverse student learning styles. Your day-to-day involves developing comprehensive lesson plans, managing classroom procedures, and utilizing various media to motivate students. Beyond the classroom, you will collaborate with professional staff to address student needs, maintain accurate records, and engage with the community through events like open houses and PTA meetings. The role also includes mentoring aides and paraprofessionals, ensuring a cohesive support system for student success.

Work Environment

This is an on-campus position requiring regular and punctual attendance at the worksite; remote work is not an option. The work environment typically features a moderate noise level, and travel throughout the district is an integral part of the job duties.
