This position supports the District's High School Summer School Program, located at Centennial High School. The role is designed to deliver focused instruction during two intensive sessions: June 2–22 and June 23–July 13, 2026. Teachers will facilitate student contact hours from 8:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday, while also managing prep time, grading, and professional learning opportunities.
Please note that classes are contingent upon meeting enrollment requirements; therefore, positions are offered subject to these conditions. While this specific posting covers standard high school summer sessions, schedules and times may vary for Behind the Wheel and ESY programs.
Champaign Unit 4 Schools serves over 10,000 PreK-Young Adult students across 18 facilities, including elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as the Novak Academy. Located conveniently near Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis, Champaign offers the entertainment and intellectual activity of a large city without the high costs of living or lengthy commutes often associated with busy urban areas.
The University of Illinois adds to the vibrant atmosphere with Big 10 sporting events, a thriving business environment, and world-class entertainment at the State Farm Center and the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
