About the Role
Year Up is seeking an Entry Level Application Developer to join our innovative Information Technology team. This unique position offers the opportunity to integrate technical skills with a meaningful mission in an educational setting. As part of our IT & Data Management department, the successful candidate will be integral to supporting our academic programs and services through the development and maintenance of application solutions.
The developer will collaborate extensively with educational staff to understand and meet their technology needs, enhancing both faculty and student experiences. You will work closely with the IT team and various internal stakeholders to define system requirements and customize software applications accordingly. Your work will involve developing, testing, and implementing tailored solutions, providing technical support, and documenting all phases of the software development lifecycle. Additionally, you will assist in training staff and students on the use of new technologies, ensuring a smooth transition to improved digital tools.
