As an EMT-B with Cataldo, you will be the first line of defense for individuals requesting or requiring emergent and non-emergent medical services. Your primary mission is to assess patients, administer basic life support (BLS), and transport them safely to appropriate facilities.
Your day will involve responding to calls, operating ambulances in accordance with strict safety regulations, and documenting every aspect of patient care. You will interact professionally with patients, families, physicians, and other emergency service providers, exercising sound judgment in stressful environments. Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain the ambulance and equipment, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for immediate deployment.
