About the Team
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time physician to join our elite emergency medicine special operations team. This specialized unit operates at select emergency departments across a broad region, including Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
About the Role
In this role, you will work 120 hours per month in scheduled blocks, designed to provide significant flexibility and enhanced work-life balance. The position includes blocked time off, allowing you to enjoy doing what you love outside of your clinical duties. Success in this role requires an adaptive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative team-player attitude. Flexibility to travel to various locations within the designated states is a must.
Hiring Process
Interested candidates should ensure they are board certified or board eligible in ABEM or AOBEM with completed emergency medicine residency training. TeamHealth will assist in obtaining any additional necessary licenses and DEAs for the designated states.
