Lee Health recognizes the transformative benefits of integrating dedicated physical therapy services directly into our emergency department. We are actively seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our emergency department team, where you will collaborate on comprehensive care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic issues stemming from neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular pulmonary, and integumentary systems.
The Emergency Department PT role is crucial for assessing care appropriateness, consulting with healthcare professionals, and delivering direct patient care. As a Physical Therapist, you will examine, evaluate, and test individuals with mechanical, physiological, and developmental impairments to determine diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans. Your work will focus on alleviating impairments, designing interventions, and promoting fitness and wellness across populations of all ages.
