We are seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer specializing in Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and Harness design to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment and possess a passion for reliable electronic system design. You will play a critical part in creating detailed mechanical layouts for CCA boards, selecting appropriate connectors, and ensuring strict compliance with fit, clearance, and tolerance standards using PTC Creo and Windchill.
In this position, you will not only design but also troubleshoot manufacturing issues, support Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/DFA) reviews, and define test plans. A key aspect of the job involves managing board integration with enclosures and collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, systems, reliability, and manufacturing teams. While CCA board layout and design are mandatory, experience with cable and harness design, as well as Zuken, is highly valued.
This role operates on a 4/10 schedule, offering every Friday off. Candidates must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance, though this is not required to start. The position requires a strong ability to produce high-quality design documentation and guide test and integration activities.
