About the Role

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Driver Trainees. This role serves as the foundation for a career in route delivery driving and customer service. You will be prepared through a rigorous, company-sponsored training program designed to handle the demands of the job.

As a Driver Trainee, you will gain firsthand experience operating delivery vehicles under expert supervision. Your day will involve intensive training in safety, route planning, and customer interaction, alongside assisting in loading and unloading merchandise to learn inventory control and delivery processes. You will observe experienced drivers to master navigation and gradually take on more driving responsibilities as your skills and confidence build.

Upon successful completion of the training program, you will graduate to a full-time driver, representing McLane and delivering on our commitment to our customers.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be prepared to attend and successfully complete company-sponsored training courses covering driving skills, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols. A key requirement for advancement is obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) upon completion of the training period and finishing the McLane Company's Driver Certification Program.
