About the Role
As a Driver with our Transportation & Logistics team, you will operate modern equipment to deliver goods on scheduled routes. This role is vital to our mission of connecting businesses with their essential supplies. You will be the face of McLane at every stop, providing professional and courteous service while representing our commitment to safety and quality.
Your day involves operating company trucks to safely deliver freight, performing pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT standards, and ensuring accurate, damage-free loading and unloading. You will maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation, communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes and delays, and care for your assigned equipment by reporting any maintenance needs.
