About the Role
As a Donut Finisher in our Bakery department, you play a vital role in creating the fresh, delicious treats that customers love. Your day involves finishing donuts, bagels, and danishes to ensure they are ready for sale. Beyond the kitchen, you are the face of our brand, responsible for providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to everyone you meet.
You will work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment. From greeting customers by name to answering the telephone promptly, your interactions define the Hy-Vee experience. You will also handle the preparation of work areas, manage equipment like ovens and glazing tables, and maintain strict adherence to hygiene and safety guidelines.
