This position is pivotal to Starbucks' success, leading and directing a team of procurement professionals to deliver best-in-class global sourcing strategies. You will develop a vision for best-in-class sourcing within your spend category and establish multi-year plans that enable critical business goals. Beyond strategy, you will champion corporate social responsibility and supplier diversity leadership programs.
The role requires deep collaboration at all levels across US and international business units, as well as across the supply base, to support business sourcing objectives. You will operate in a high-growth climate, managing sourcing strategies in areas of high financial or brand risk while driving major step changes within your scope of responsibility. As a leader, you will model Starbucks' guiding principles, building and leading global teams to higher levels of performance and influencing stakeholders up to the executive vice president level.
