Organization Overview

Replications, Inc. is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to replicating and implementing high-impact educational models that foster student success and community engagement. Our vision is that every child in every community has access to a dynamic and joyful public school that empowers them to thrive. We partner with schools to provide comprehensive support services to drive student academic achievement and social-emotional development.

About the Role

The Director of Social Work serves as a strategic leader in supporting the social-emotional and mental health needs of students and families across our DYCD COMPASS and SONYC after-school programs and Community Schools throughout New York City. Reporting directly to the Chief Program Officer, this role is pivotal in creating safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environments for our communities.

In this position, you will partner closely with Program Directors, Community School Directors, school leadership teams, and community-based partners to strengthen student support systems. Your day-to-day impact involves overseeing the implementation of mental health initiatives, crisis navigation plans, and restorative practice strategies. Beyond direct program support, you will lead Replications' Social Work Internship Program, managing university partnerships, field placements, and the supervision of social work interns across our school-based programs.

Why Join Replications?

This is your chance to contribute directly to an organization committed to transforming public education and empowering communities. We are looking for individuals with a deep passion for working with students in under-resourced schools, an exceptional level of patience, and a drive to achieve results within a mission-driven culture.

Equal Opportunity

Replications, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse team that reflects the communities we serve. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, particularly those from historically underrepresented communities.
