The Director of Social Work serves as a strategic leader in supporting the social-emotional and mental health needs of students and families across our DYCD COMPASS and SONYC after-school programs and Community Schools throughout New York City. Reporting directly to the Chief Program Officer, this role is pivotal in creating safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environments for our communities.
In this position, you will partner closely with Program Directors, Community School Directors, school leadership teams, and community-based partners to strengthen student support systems. Your day-to-day impact involves overseeing the implementation of mental health initiatives, crisis navigation plans, and restorative practice strategies. Beyond direct program support, you will lead Replications' Social Work Internship Program, managing university partnerships, field placements, and the supervision of social work interns across our school-based programs.
