The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (UCMC) seeks a Director of Heart Failure and Advanced Myocardial and Circulatory Services. This role is designed to support the continued growth of heart failure and heart transplant services at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Campus.
In this position, you will lead a team of four heart failure cardiologists while collaborating closely with a growing team of general cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and interventionalists. You will join four cardiothoracic surgeons in a strong, well-established cardiac transplant program and partner with UC Health's academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The role offers high-priority, protected administrative time to focus on leadership responsibilities while providing state-of-the-art cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) patient care alongside cardiac surgeons and critical care anesthesiologists.
As a leader at one of the oldest medical schools in the country, you will work daily with medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to the next generation of healthcare professionals.
