Autonomous and unmanned surface vessels are transforming how nations protect their waters, project power, and operate fleets. The demand surge across Europe and Asia has created one of the fastest-growing markets in defense. Sea Machines is at the center of this shift. With 200+ autonomous vessel deployments across the globe, we deliver field-proven technology that outpaces competitors while delivering reliability. We're expanding aggressively and looking for a high-impact communications leader who wants to shape the future of naval autonomy.
The Communications Director is responsible for the strategy of Sea Machines communications and media outreach. This leader will craft compelling narratives that reflect Sea Machines' technological leadership, market momentum, and real-world impact that shapes perception in a rapidly evolving industry.
This role combines strategic storytelling, executive communications, media relations, and cross-functional collaboration to support key business goals including sales growth, recruitment, defense commercialization, and company expansion. You will translate complex technical concepts regarding autonomy, perception, and AI into clear, compelling content for government stakeholders and policymakers. As a strategic advisor, you will manage crisis communication protocols and act as a thought leader to reinforce Sea Machines' authority in the maritime technology sector.
We are a mission-driven organization seeking a team-oriented professional with a bias for action. We value high integrity and the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment characterized by ambiguity and rapid change. Join us to help define the next generation of naval autonomy.
