About the Role
This position serves as the operational leader for small to medium-sized Distribution Centers, overseeing the full spectrum of daily activities from order fulfillment to production. The role is designed to ensure efficient utilization of resources while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service. You will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, supporting contract negotiations and resolving service failures to drive customer satisfaction.
The day-to-day rhythm involves planning and measuring all daily processes, managing human resource functions including staffing and performance management, and overseeing the maintenance of warehouse equipment and the private truck fleet. Success in this role requires a hands-on approach to inventory management, material handling, and ensuring that housekeeping and safety practices are rigorously followed across the facility.
