Join the transformative team at City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: to deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today.
As a Dietetic Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Clinical Dietitian in various aspects of patient care and nutrition services. You will be part of a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality nutrition care to patients. Your day-to-day work involves assessing the nutritional needs of patients, delivering nutrition education, conducting calorie counts, ensuring menu accuracy, and maintaining high-quality standards for meal trays. You will screen the nutrition status of assigned patients, assist in the development of care plans for identified problems, and monitor patient responsiveness to those plans. Additionally, you will plan in-between meal nourishments as needed and communicate any nutritional problems beyond your scope of practice to the Clinical Dietitian.
City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
