As a Clinical Manager at Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA), you will serve as the clinical leader for our facility, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care while maintaining cost-effective operations. Your mission is to uphold FMCNA's core values and compliance standards, making daily decisions that guarantee continuity of care and the safety of both patients and staff.
In this role, you will coordinate the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives, managing resources to meet schedules and goals. You will act as a vital liaison between the facility, physicians, and the broader renal team, facilitating efficient patient care from admission through discharge. Whether addressing adverse events, optimizing the Home Therapies Program, or driving Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI) initiatives, your leadership ensures that our facility meets all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Your day involves a dynamic mix of clinical oversight, staff development, and administrative management. You will lead the Interdisciplinary Team to discuss patient care plans, ensuring timely assessments and effective action plans for missed treatments. You will mentor direct reports, providing coaching, performance feedback, and opportunities for professional growth to build a competent and engaged workforce.
You will also maintain the integrity of the facility's environment, from the safety of the water system to the efficient utilization of medical supplies and equipment. By reviewing financial statements, approving payroll, and participating in corporate reporting, you ensure the facility operates smoothly and compliantly. Additionally, you will foster strong relationships with physicians and facilitate their privileges, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Candidates must complete Clinical Manager training modules and ongoing developmental programs within the specified timeline. The role requires a full-time commitment with on-call coverage as necessary. Please note that taking the Ishihara's Color Blindness test is a condition of employment; however, failing the test does not automatically preclude employment, as the company will consider reasonable accommodations.
