This full-time, onsite position serves as a critical link in patient care, performing sonography in strict accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and compassionate patient interaction. You will review patient history and physician orders, educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation, and prepare and administer contrast media or medications within your scope of practice.
Your day-to-day responsibilities involve monitoring patient conditions, selecting appropriate imaging parameters, and performing high-quality scans. You will be expected to troubleshoot equipment issues, resolve image quality problems, and analyze results to identify any necessary follow-up actions. This role demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
