Saint Ignatius College Prep is a Jesuit, Catholic high school in Chicago dedicated to forming men of faith, intellect, and service. Our mission is to educate young men to lead lives of purpose and integrity in a changing world. The Development team plays a vital role in this mission by cultivating relationships with donors, alumni, and the broader community to secure the resources necessary to sustain our educational excellence and expand our impact.
The Development Associate serves as a key operational partner within the Development department, ensuring the seamless execution of the school's fundraising and engagement initiatives. This position exists to bridge the gap between strategic donor goals and the logistical realities of event management and communication. You will be the backbone of our event operations, working closely with the Chief Development Officer and internal stakeholders to bring our community together.
In this role, you will not only manage the logistics of high-profile events but also contribute to the narrative of the school by coordinating communications and maintaining the integrity of our donor databases. Your work directly supports the financial health of the institution, allowing us to invest in our students and faculty. The day-to-day rhythm involves a blend of administrative precision and active community engagement, requiring you to be adaptable, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to the Jesuit values of the school.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Qualified candidates who demonstrate a strong alignment with our mission and possess the required organizational skills will be invited to interview. The process typically includes an initial conversation followed by a discussion with the Development team to assess fit and capabilities.
Saint Ignatius College Prep is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. While a practicing Catholic is preferred for this specific role due to its alignment with our religious mission, we encourage applications from all backgrounds who share our commitment to our students and community.
