This position is designed to develop a high level of competence with Nucor's detailing system (Rebar CAD) and a total understanding of the business system as it relates to detailing and managing project contracts. The role focuses on evolving from foundational tasks to independently detailing complex projects and managing contractual issues.
In this capacity, you will work with little supervision to address changes with customers, produce change-order documents, and communicate with architects, engineers, steel placers, and customers regarding project requirements. You will be responsible for verifying drawings, dates, and specifications, as well as generating required reports to assist in project management.
