About the Role

The Dermatology Supervising Physician plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality healthcare to the elderly population within skilled nursing facilities across North Carolina. This position leverages clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure patients receive compassionate and effective care.

The ideal candidate is confident, compassionate, and deeply committed to excellence in geriatric dermatology. As a remote supervising physician, you will oversee the supervision of nurse practitioners, collaborating closely with them to manage the care of residents at numerous facilities. This role requires a strong ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of medical oversight and patient support.

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to provide supervision and care management from anywhere. All physicians in this role are engaged as 1099 independent contractors, offering flexibility in how you structure your professional engagement.

Professional Standards

Maintaining an active and valid medical license in the state of North Carolina is a fundamental requirement for this role. Additionally, you must hold a valid DEA/Controlled Substance License. The role also involves representing the organization in professional capacities, including attending Board of Medicine meetings or submitting requests to the Board to support proposed collaborative relationships with licensed doctors.
