About the Role
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be the cornerstone of our preventive care services. This role exists to bridge the gap between clinical treatment and patient education, ensuring every visitor leaves with a clear understanding of their oral health. You will work closely with dentists and staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, performing comprehensive services such as prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
Your day will involve conducting thorough oral health assessments, including charting and cancer screenings, while utilizing digital imaging systems to capture and evaluate radiographs. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and disease prevention. You will also manage the flow of the treatment room, ensuring efficient patient scheduling and maintaining strict infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
