About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by ensuring food orders are picked up from local restaurants and delivered safely and promptly to customers. You will use the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests, navigate to restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers. Your role is essential in providing good customer service and ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner.

How You Work

You have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want. You can work part-time or full-time, full-time, or during specific peak times such as lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours when delivery demand is highest. This independence allows you to balance your work with your personal life while earning competitive pay. On average, drivers earn $15 to $25 per hour, including base pay, promotions, and customer tips, with higher earnings possible during peak meal times and busy delivery periods.

What You Need

To get started, you must be an independent contractor and provide your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app. You will be responsible for following traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. You must also follow delivery instructions and communicate through the app when needed to ensure a smooth experience for both you and the customer.
