About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by picking up food orders from local restaurants and delivering them safely to customers. You will use the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests, navigate to restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver orders to customers. Your role is essential in ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.

How You Work

You have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want. You can work part-time or full-time, full-time, or during specific peak times such as lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours when delivery demand is highest. This autonomy allows you to integrate driving into your lifestyle while earning competitive pay. On average, drivers earn $15 to $25 per hour, including base pay, promotions, and customer tips, with higher earnings possible during busy delivery periods.

What You Need

To get started, you must be an independent contractor and provide your own vehicle, bike, or scooter, or scooter, along with a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app. You are responsible for following all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety standards ensure a smooth experience for both you and the customer.
