About the Role
Frito-Lay is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers and Route Sales Representatives to serve as the face of our brand at grocery stores, convenience stores, and retail locations. In this role, you will manage an assigned route, ensuring that our products are delivered, stocked, and merchandised to the highest standards. This position is more than just driving; it is about building positive relationships with store managers and staff while maintaining the freshness and availability of products for our customers.
Day in the Life
As a driver, you will operate a company delivery truck to transport products to assigned stores. Your day involves unloading product, stocking shelves and displays, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness. You will also build promotional displays and track inventory to ensure stores are properly stocked according to company merchandising standards. Completing route paperwork and meeting delivery and stocking deadlines are key parts of your daily responsibilities.
Safety and Compliance
Safety is a top priority. You will be responsible for safely operating a delivery truck and following DOT regulations when applicable. Adhering to company safety policies, merchandising standards, and delivery procedures is essential. You will also maintain a professional relationship with customers and store managers, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits
This position typically pays $60,000 to $75,000 per year, which is commonly equivalent to $28 to $36 per hour. There are opportunities for overtime pay, performance bonuses, and route sales incentives based on sales volume and product displays. Many Frito-Lay drivers are eligible for route bonuses, sales incentives, and overtime opportunities, especially for high-volume routes.
